The Osceola County Council on Aging, Inc. wishes to transmit our sincere gratitude for all the assistance shown by your staff and agency. As you remember, the Council contracted to have shutters installed by Woodward Glass Protection of Port Orange, Florida. Woodward installed approximately a third of the shutters and subsequently declared bankruptcy.
The Council was left in a terrible bind by this action and needed to install shutters with diminished funding to protect the disabled seniors living at Oak Leaf Landings apartment building. A Council Board member was familiar with the work ethic of the owner of WeatherGuard Inc. I contacted these fabulous folks and asked for their help. The entire delightful staff lent their assistance to the Council. Without their concern and assistance our non-profit would have been left in a terrible bind.
